Pokemon sapphire: Pokemon sapphire is a 2D game and contains over 50 hours of game play along with battles and quite a bit of fun, on the Pokemon games you only get one save slot in the Game-boy but the game also has to be compressed into something smaller so you can keep saved data on your Game-boy from being corrupted. The Pokemon games is 8-bit but when you get into a battle the game will change from 8-bit to 16-bit making the fight more fun, the game has to be compressed so that the game can run normally without any lag or without being corrupted, the Game-boy games are a lot different from games from PlayStation or Xbox it plays a lot differently the controls are different and a lot easier to use on Xbox and PlayStation because you have a full controller to use unlike the Game-boy where you only have a D-pad and the a and b buttons and you can only move one square at a time.
Metal gear solid Snake eater: metal gear solid is a stealth action adventure now this game is a 64-bit back because it is played on a bigger hard drive so it doesn’t have to be compressed to make it smaller there is also the fact that it is in 3D rather than 2D because it is on a better platform which means it can be played in better quality that means it can make the game experience much better for the player also now you don’t have to move square by square you can move freely unlike Pokemon, Zelda and metal gear 1 that’s because of the Xbox and PlayStation controllers they have now added two analog sticks so that you can move you character around much better in this 3D game with less limitation making the 3D much better.

Comparing both the games as you play them: with the Game-boy you only get the d-pad and the A, B buttons which will make it more 2D because in the Game-boy you move square by square so that means up, down, left, right, Button to run and the A to talk to people around you the B button is to also make you run faster when you have the runner shoes on then you have the Xbox and PlayStation controllers which let you move around wherever you want up, down, left, right and diagonal and you get two extra buttons the X and Y and square and triangle then X and square will make you reload your weapon in some games or it will make you look behind you in racing games where as the triangle and Y button will make you switch weapons in FPS and will make you change to first person in driving games if we compare the 2 controllers you can see that there are tons of differences and only some similarity’s but the games its self you can see the differences in the game as well such as the ground, trees and sky in the Game-boy it’s all pixelated where as in the Xbox and PlayStation they have refined it to make it look more real trying to capture the true form of the real world the world from the Game-boy is flat and pixelated the world of Xbox and PlayStation are 3D trying to look more real and more beautiful.

Heads up display: the HUD is a heads up display that shows your health, ammo/weapons, mana, stamina, mini map, compass or quest arrow. the HUD is the of any game, with the HUD you will be able to see health, how many weapons your holding at once and it will also show a mini-map to show where important stuff is and it will show where your friends and extra ammo is. it will also show where special events are being help when you open up the map or it will give you a notification on your screen about everything game invites, deaths, guns, ammo and health.

Print Media Art: These are things such as posters and box art, which can be used for marketing. Print media art is essentially any sort of material that applies to a game in the form of a print. The aim of this type of graphic is to look appealing and draw people it to buy it, this is achieved through use of colors, different techniques of drawing styles and sometimes writing. Such as this box art which clearly shows this, It has a large title that has the effect that it is shooting out at you, which makes it attract the eye. You can also see that when you look at this item of print media, the eye is instantly drawn to the lightsaber blade which is the focal point of this box art.
